Chapter One: The Last Directive

Year: 4,000,000,000

Location: The Ancient City of Antarctica - Deep beneath the frozen continent, an old laboratory hums back to life. A pod hisses open. Inside sits a sleek metal android, motionless—eyes closed, dormant for ages beyond counting.

Then click. His eyes snap open. He rises from the pod, metal feet echoing against cracked stone floors. The air is stale. Ancient.

Forgotten. Every sound he makes comes back to him doubled, swallowed by silence. Broken monitors flicker. Rusted machines lean at odd angles. Time has devoured this place.

At the center of the lab sits a skeleton slumped in a rolling chair. A remote rests loosely in the dead man’s hand. The android tilts his head, curious. He gently removes the remote and presses the power button. A screen crackles to life. A scientist appears—wearing the same lab coat as the corpse. SCIENTIST (recorded):

“Hello. Sir Droid, if you are seeing this, then the human race is almost extinct. But thank God for technology.”The android watches, silent.

SCIENTIST:

“Your mission is simple. You must save humanity. Travel east of Antarctica. That is where the last humans remain. Be careful, there are many dangers out there. But you are an android. You can survive the cold. You can survive what Antarctica throws at you.”The scientist smiles faintly.SCIENTIST:

“Oh, and before you go… look in the mirror. See how cool you look.” A mirror slowly rises from the floor with a low mechanical groan. The android steps forward. He studies himself.Grey metallic skin.

A youthful face, about twenty-three in human years.

Silver cornrows hanging clean and sharp.

A confident stance.

A quiet DBZ-style swagger, like a future warrior who already knows he’s built different. He smiles.SCIENTIST (voice continuing):

“On your journey, I’ll assist you through a scout system. It reacts to your actions. Think of it as my eyes… and your guide.”Suddenly—CRASH. A chair topples in the background.

The android turns sharply. Movement. He steps cautiously toward the noise, scanning the shadows. Nothing. Just silence again.

He turns back. As he passes the mirror, A reflection moves that isn’t his. A giant polar bear stands behind him. Blood drips from its mouth. Fresh. The android freezes for half a second,Then runs.

The bear roars and charges, smashing through walls. Ice and snow burst through the ceiling as ancient structures collapse. Sir Droid dodges falling debris, calculations flashing through his vision. The ceiling caves in ahead. An opening.

Exit path detected. He leaps upward just as the entire roof collapses behind him. Sir Droid lands hard, now standing atop a frozen mountain. The polar bear explodes through the ruins after him. The impact triggers an avalanche.

Snow roars like the end of the world. When it finally settles, The bear lies still, buried beneath layers of ice and white silence.Sir Droid stands quietly, watching. Then he turns. And walks east.
